ttl100's Tank
Helped you to hotlink it liaoz bro.
thanks szesteve
i like the mixture of E.quad and blyxa.. yr plants (except for the moss) looks healthy.. think u got to lower yr temp., wats the black cylinder object on the right of yr tank? imo, the background is somewhat distracting, shld replace it.. I see no reason y u shld have a internal and an external filter
Good if filter can be hidden. Personally I would have the Sword plant or Ludwigia covering the filter. Will you be adding more background plants?
Keep it up!

Juggler's tanks
Simon, my background is really dodgy. Gonna replace it with a black colour paper. That black thingy is actually another powerhead feeding into my DIY canister filter. I personally feel that Eheim external filters is really nothing special. Rather save the money for more plants. I need another powerhead to add slight water circulation and also for the CO2 injection.
The initial 2 to 3 weeks for this tank was horrendous due to the peat granulate I've added in the substrate. The water kept turning brown in a matter of few days and hence limited lighting available for the java moss. Due to this, the java moss is effectively "destrroyed" []
However, the plus side of having peat granulate is lush growth on the Amazon Swords as you can see on the right.
Juggler, you are right the powerhead is very distracting. I will see how I can make it "disappear". Maybe just paint the whole thing black. Can't move the ludwiga further left as it will effect the balance of the aquascape. As for the other powerhead on the right, not much can be done anymore except replacing the dodgy looking rubber hose with PVC tubings.
Will keep you guys updated in a few weeks.
Your water temparature is too high. Are you using any fan?
Aquatic plants and LEGO collector.
My cooling fan has gone kaputt a weeks back. Didn't bother to get a new one either. So far don't see much difference in terms of growth with lower temp.
My other 2ft tank is around 27 deg C with a cooling fan. Haven't noticed any significant improvements to the plants besides topping up of water everyday.
Can anyone perhaps share their experience with better plant growth at lower temperature water?
