Singapore moss is growing quite well for me at 30-31c at about 2.6wpg and CO2 injection

in terms of moss, yes java moss is the most hardiest because it can withstand high temperatures up to 30 degree celcius. they grow fast too compared to chrismas moss. however, tidiness wise, other moss is chosen over java moss.

I vote spikey moss. Grows without CO2 and take high temp.
