    could it be the temperature? yamato has higher temp tolerance but too high a temp will kill it.

    it died.
    not temperature; the other 3 are still ok and looks normal.

    I think it's not temperature or anything. It's the CO2. You using CO2? Maybe your CO2 inside too high and the acid cooked the yamato. I am talking from expereience last week I turned my CO2 too high and one of my wood shrimp died and the body looked like shrimp tempura. It was red.

    If the rest are ok, then should be ok. Maybe the yamato died due to sudden changes you made to the tank such as one bro suggested sudden co2 increase?
