I think very healthy fish food and save the trouble of all the mixing and blending...

LOL- I think it's better to read this now than never.
Thanks for the tips Larry, especially on the power tool although I've given up 'peeling' hearts.![]()
I buy beefheart frozen paste from a breeder nowadays and add 'stuff' as needed. The food processor helps with the mixing of additional ingredients.
Instead of putting bloodworms in the mix- I feed it separately as snacks-something to do with keep the food processor 'hygienic'. I sometimes add Shrimp/Prawn meat as it helps bind the meat mix. Usually 30% of the total weight.

Look no further.
Now there are two more sera granulated foods that, due to their composition, optimally provide for the specific requirements of the yellow/red and green/blue discus. sera discus color Blue and sera discus color Red now complete the sera family of discus granulates. They sink slowly, meeting the eating habits of the magnificent discus. Both foods are blended from more than 40 ingredients - each tailor-made to suit the specific discus color variant - for the most intensive color formation.
Haha,no la, just that i am using this and has positive effects on my eliz german red. Used to feed them only tetrabits but now feeding this with the one below which has earthworms in the granules. Maybe also due to mixed diets the red is extremely intense now.
