    Hi guys;
    1st Q:
    Is it advisable to use Chemipure in canister filter for planted planted tank. U know the Chemipure that claims to clear ur water and u don't need water change for at least 5 years. Mine is a 4x1.5x1.5ft tank in the midst of setting up.

    2nd Q:
    Wats the best combination of filter media for a canister filter with 3 tray. Zeolite can use? ceramic rings, bioballs etc.

    Thanx 4 all the replies.

    Forget about the Chemipure stuff. Do nothing good for planted tanks.

    To have a healthy planted tank, water change is INDISPENSIBLE. Nothing will replace a regular water change. Don't believe in the no water change claim.

    Filtration is not so critical for planted tanks. Plants themselves removes many unwanted stuff like NH3 from the water. Just maintain some mechanical and bio filter media in the filter. Leave out zeolite, carbon filters or any chemical filtration stuff.
