    lovely, too little people appreciate the flowers of aquatic plants. it seems the accepted spelling is Hydrotriche hottoniaeflora though. is this a native of the US?
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    No, its native to Madagascar, and commercially comes out of Singapore, but is now being grown commercially here in the USA too.
