    Just browsing another old thread from Apistogramma veteran, kenchou.

    I had the impression that this variant was a lot more colorful that this.

    The 'tefe' variants are slight different in coloration and usually priced higher. As such, I was surprised to see this sample looking so "usual".

    Not sure if dbcyeo's pair is the 'tefe bauana' variant.

    actually, ken's fish looks closer to a Mamuri.

    compare it to this picture in my gallery. probably one of the best fishes I ever owned.



    note the colors on the face of the fish and the colors of the finnage.

    I've seen dbcyeo's bit Mamuri.. its superb!!!
    It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!
