shrimp tank question!

hi! a question here.. currently im using a tank (300 x 340 x 360mm) that holds 25L. is 50 shrimps too many for the tank? thanks in advance for advice here!

nope... it wont be too much for your tank.. once you put them in, hardly can tell you have 50 shrimps.. especially if you have alot of plants

thanks! yes i agree with you, i can hardly see all 50 of them as i put quite a no. of aqua plant.

pardon me but i have another concern regarding black quatz sand.. is it suitable for shrimps and plants..? many thanks for ur kind attention to my problem!!

unless you plant moss, if not most aqua plant need substrate that have fert to grow, like ada soil, gex or some other brand, wherelse black quatz dont have .. if just shrimp should be fine.

so as to say, unless i have moss in my tank. i cant plant any aqua plant with just Black Quatz yes?

I believe you can still grow other plants if you use black quartz with base fert as the bottom layer. I am thinking of using base fert + black quartz for a shrimp tank because with lapis sand, my cherry shrimp doesn't look red. Will cherry shrimp look redder with the black quartz?

I have a 18 litre tank...and I believe I have about 50 already if not more, and they are still breeding!

I read somewhere that RCS will feel overcrowded and enforce their own one child policy (or stop breeding altogether).

There is a saturation point, I just don't know what that is.

Currently im having a 25L tank with plus minus 50 cherries/sakuras in it. The sakura(in my case) never cease reproduction.. water parameter in long term will be affected so as to avoid it.. im currently in my planning phase of getting a 2ft tank.

morning bro wayechan, for shrimps you can try C328 for more varities, as for CRS, you can try NA or Colourful. Cost wise depends on your budget.
