Where's the best place to get ADA amazonia 2 soil?

hi guys,

I was wondering which LFS is the best place to get the ADA amazonia 2 soil? I'm also wondering how much do i need to cover a standard 2ft tank.

please advise. thanks!

For me, I get it from here. "http://www.mizuworld.com/". I check the price with some LFS and mizuworld is cheaper. Moreover, They deliver it to me (of coz buy >$200 to get free delivery). Since I do not own any transport, it's better option for me.

I bought mine at Y618 which cost me about $38 for a pack think is 10Kg, which i am able to cover my 2ft tank with built in sump tank behind to about 2.5'' height, hence I guess a standard tank should require about 1 & a half pack.

Aquasoil is packed as 9 liter bags.

i used one large pack (9L) for a standard 2x1x1 ft tank to get a significant slope.

Usually shop at NA for 'accessories'

you can drop by Colourful Aquarium just next door. It do carry some plants

Does anybody know how much does a 9L pack of Aquasoil weigh? GEX and Magicsoil package theirs in kilos, so just trying to ascertain a common dimension.

BTW, 9L Amazonia or 8kg (GEX) pack should fill a 2" tank. All depends also on the slope/scape I guess.

Litre is a unit of volume, KG is a unit of weight.

Depending of the media or substance, it may differ. But for water, 1L = 1KG

is this soil suitable for guppies / tetra? Understand some substrates changes water properties ie making it more acidic / reducing hardness.

Is it also cheaper by ordering from website, compared to getting from Clementi Floral?
