    Hi all.

Just want to know if breeding Hino CRS's is the same as crs.

Is it ok if i put a small number of them in a breeder box in my current crs tank for them to breed?

Also another question is - if i want to breed the hinos how to i introduce new genes without causing too much variation to their coloration and patterns.
I.e: what shrimps should i put in with them?

Thank you all for your input!!!

    CHEERS!!!

yes they are the same. What difference would there be??

To be Hino, A/S Grade CRS + SnowWhite/Golden

    Or

    Hino/Mosura + SnowWhite/Golden

It Depends but i am sure low grade + low grade will not produce any high grade for me. Been testing that for 6 months and no results. Now i have quite a few golden and Hino/Mosura after keeping only Hino/mosura. Let them breed in the tank dont enclose them in breeding tank. You will stress them more than any good.

Whichever grade we use, will produce a varant of grades offspring. The 'upgrade' is perhaps 1 grade up. For example, male and female Grade A shrimps can produce even S grade CRS.

There is a slight possibility of getting SS with A grade after many generations. Where did we get SS or SSS grades from in the first place?

If you want a short cut way of getting Hino (SS), you can use S grade with Golden Genes (or snow white, whichever it is). Using S with Golden Genes may even produce SSS after a few generations (lines). You may even get nice and thick white and nice head patterns.

Pattern chase is not the most satisfying achievement. I am hoping to hv thick red legs CRS, thick red patterns and solid whites, instead.

If you were to mix golden/show white with CRS shrimps, the most the shrimps you can have breed out are thick whites and only white legs.

Hi globalcookies, did you managed to breed CRS with golden/snow white genes shrimps and get red legs CRS?? For shrimps with red legs, I think onlt pure red line shrimps will breed out shrimps with red legs. Any success?

What I mean was, I am not chasing patterns. I am hoping to have red legs, which means, not mixing Golden/Snow White. Sorry for the confusion.

So far, I do have some shrimps with pinkish red legs. The red color isn't intense
