    Hi all again.

I just got myself an API 5 in 1 test kit to check my water parameter and it says my GH is 60 - 120!!!! I don't believe it. My shrimps have been doing fine.

But just to be on the safe side, is there a way to bring it down?

    Cheers!!

GH 60-120ppm is ok for crs.. you need to convert to dh by dividing ppm by 17.8. From your readings, is around 3.3 to 6.7dh. GH around 4-8dh is good for crs.

i would suggest getting a GH and KH liquid tester if you are really into these perimeters. API have the GH and KH liquid tester that are bundled in a pack. They give more accurate readings compared to the your 5-1 test kit which gives a wide range of around 3dh.
