    Hey all.

Been a long time since I last rescaped a tank totally.

Looks horrible doesn't it. Doesn't help that somehow my Java Fern narrow decided to die off en masse a day before I rescaped. Basically the tank is majority dead plants now. That's Taiwan moss on meshes in there too.

Now I want a triangle scape. Thing is, I've no idea what to have. Junk the narrow java and have stemmed plants, or get more java fern?

And I think the crypt parva at the right looks way out of place no?

Stem plants would look nice. Definitely liven up the situation. Makeover time.

I think 2 types of rotala[sp vietnam and rotundifolia] and one HM combination would be good.

Stemmed plants it is then. I took another look at the java fern... no way to save it. No idea what went wrong there.

Is that moss field ok? Looks very flat to me. How do I improve it?

are you going to do co2? or just excel it to death?

also..yes.. get rid of that parva. is that even parva?

I agree with stan.. stemmed plans definitely livens upthe scene.. but just take note of maintenance also will probably go up.

i think the general rock formation is okay to use as a base. you just need some smaller rocks to draw attenetion to where you want people to look.

Still deciding if I want to switch back to CO2... Dragging that tank to Boon Keng is going to be a pain haha.

Yeap that's parva. Grew to that size after 2 years. Looks like a trip to c328 is in order.

For the moss field, I think consider hairgrass. E. parvula is fast but a little tall for a 2ft tank. If you can get the shorter Japanese HG, it would look better.
I think one more rock somewhere around the middle area would balance up the mid area.
The left raised rock looks to be upsetting this balance a little.
I would move the driftwood a couple of inches to the right.
