    Nice cabinet!

You might want to slope up the substrate. This stabilises your driftwood and provides depth also.

The java fern on the left looks out of place... maybe shift it to the back?

    Some updates

    Hardware:
    Tank:60cm x 40cm x 40cm Cade Optiwhite tank from Mizuworld
    Filter:Eheim 2026
    Reactor:Inline Co2 Reactor
    Co2: 3 Bps
    Lighting:4 x T5 24W
    Substrate: Gex
    Water Change: 30% weekly
    Fertilization: flourish,potassium,trace (all Seachem)

Added more plants. Gave up on my HC. Too much headache! Replaced with a foreground plant that I have yet to identify.

    Bumble Bee Snail

Just learnt that this shrimp is a Caridina Dennerli

Do you think I should paste a black background sheet at the back of the tank?

I got the plant from C328. It grows super fast, and stays low to the substrate.

Re: My first 2ft Aquascape. Comments Pls

Wow theres a sulawesi shrimp in there,
as far as i have read they seem to be advance level type of shrimps.

mind sharing your water parameters? hoping i could keep them in my planted tank as well but fear that they might not be suitable as they live in high ph
while plants and tetras are low ph...

Re: My first 2ft Aquascape. Comments Pls

I bought my cabinet and tank from Mizuworld.

I wouldn't be so quick to claim success in rearing the shrimp because I only bought it 1 week ago. I also don't have a clue what my water parameters are. I just change 30 percent every week.

Hi Tarzan, I only purchased 2 pots of the foreground plant aka Elatine Trianda.
Each pot cost 2 dollars. Bumble bee snail from C328. I think its about 60 cents one.

    Hi Tarzan,

Yes, i bought from C328 but I cannot guarantee they have stock. I bought the only 2 pots they have. I seldom see it. Perhaps you should call them before going down. You can also try the fish shop next to Nature Aquarium in Thomson.

Sulawesi shrimps are supposed to live in Alkalaine water. Harder at PH of 8 or so whereas a planted tank's PH is usually lower isn;t it??
