    Hi guys,

i got a problem with my check valve. I realised that when I shut off the CO2 at night, I'll have water back flow into the tubes the next day. I've added 2 check valves, one after the regulater & before the bubble counter, and one after the bubble counter and before the diffuser. It seems that the water will get into the check valves. I've replaced them 2 times but the problem seems to be the same. I'm using the plastic type where the inner part is yellow in color.

Do you all have any other brands to reccomend? I was thinking of getting a good one for long run cos I'm worried it'll spoil the regulater sooner or later. How abt glass materials, like the one in ADA catalog?
    Regards,
    Brigitte

    Hi Brigitte,

I'm using the check valve from Dennerle. So far no problems. Perhaps you can consider that one. As the ADA one is made of glass, you will need the soft type CO2 tube to connect to prevent breakage.

    Cheers,

    Hi Benny,

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll get it when I go to Lorong Halus tomorrow, if I can find any. I intend to upgrade to a bigger CO2 canister and get a solenoid as well. Any idea which farm I can get these stuff at a reasonable pricing?

I'm going broke this month as I got a set of 2nd hand spinning tackle for fishing and I intend to get a fly fishing set from the same guy again. His tackle sets and pricing are irresistable...

Like what you all say, so many things to get, so little space n so little time... [] [:] [] [] [:] []

Try No 63 Lor Harlus. Aquaria Pacific also sells some Dennerle products. They are at No 7. Right at the back on the right hand side.

A fast and cheap solution might be using a bubble counter(Without water). Connect the tube from the callister to the shorter valve and the tube towards the diffuser/reactor to the longer one. I found it quite tolerant as long as you keep it up rght. The air pressure will force most of the water back to the tank once your CO2 is running again.

    Just my two penny worth.

    I'm not always dumb,
    Just most of the time...
