    HELP!

I don't know what's the source of the infection. Just bought some cardinals from Gan's just 1.5 weeks ago. Since Gan quarantines his fish, I doubt that's the source of infection. My other fish are all ok. No other additions recently.

I've removed the female into a separate pail and added some salt. is there anything else that I can do?

Also, what is the most likely source of dropsy, given that I've not added anything recently? Poor water quality? But I've been keeping up with my regular weekly changes...
    Cheers
