Koi Angels

Hi there, managed to get my hands on some German grade Koi angel pair. Here are some pictures of the pair to share.





Sorry for the poor pictures, my glass is dirty and there are many hydras in there.

Good looking fish, Jitticus. Reminds me of the ones I used to breed when I was a kid. I miss those days...

Yeah, the strain has been around for ages. I just got attracted to them for their increased intensity of orange.

This was the first ever cichlid I ever bred. Same strain too. I still remember the pair fondly.

Nice brightly coloured orange heads. Where did you get them from?

They came with a german import. I got my hands on 8 pcs and landed with 3 pairs! w00t! All 3 pairs have spawned but have been unsuccessful. The most recent one landed me with some wrigglers and now i've taken some out for artificial raising.
