Just did a rescape, take away all Gayi, Subulata. Add in rotala, japoncia etc on the left side.

But seem left & right doesn't match. Right are mostly low light plants & left are high light plant. No theme.......

Should I just plant crypt also on the left side, add in Cyperus helferi as back ground plant?

    Sorry for poor phone camera

Nice job on the right. The driftwoods on both sides don't match though. I'd shift the driftwood on the right slightly more to the left, remove the driftwood on the left altogether and build my scape around the right driftwood.

remove the wood on the left, replace it with other wood similar to the wood on the right side. Do you have slope in your tank? look pretty flat. By the way what is the size of the tank? the wood look too skinny for the tank size

    Thanks for the advice!

Willdo something for the DW on the left. Had done the upslope on the left side at least 3" higher to the front, but plants cover it and cannot see. Right is flat.

    My tank size is 5' x 21/2' x 21/2'

Picture update, was thinking of removing all the plants on the left and add more lapis sand to slope it higher on the back. Need quite a lots of sand to slope it higher.

Added some background plants this morning.

Did not know the name, look like same family but one wide leaf(on the right), one standard & left back is the narrow type.

    The narrow type

Did thought about it, but require very huge rock for this tank in order to stand out. Am I right?

From the side view, water clear up after the rescape. From this view, can see the slope, but very flat if see from the front view....
Will start to lookout for rock to add in.....
