Fins generally regenerate automatically, unless the fish is immunosuppressed, attacked by secondary infections etc...
Sure can, but will take "YEARS" to grow back to the normal finnage

Using Mela Fix will speed up the fin recovery/regeneration. Sometimes in a week or two, they will be totally healed.

Years? My arowana grew back 95% of its 3 inch plus pectoral fin in less then 4 months. Should take a cardinal less time.

No. "years". That means very long lar. My betta's finnage was ruin when i bred them and that was bout 2 mths ago and the finnage was not like last time already

we are talking about cardinal tetra here.. and if you noticed, cardinal has relatively shorter finnage than a betta.
If it takes 3 weeks to recover a cm, then probably another 3 more for another cm.![]()
