Labrador Park jetty?
Labrador Park jetty?
Well,
I have tried, but not that good.... any other better places?
Thanks ......
Mandai reservoir for freshwater snake head. It's legal too. Most sea coast in Singapore are worthless.
most reservoirs have a legal fishing spot now. but you can only use artificial lures.
biggest fishes i've caught are at bedok jetty, punggol and changi board walk. but still kinda miserable catches, about 500g average. think coastal waters are dead. I only go to pay ponds nowadays.
anybody tried fishing at Pulau Ubin?
You can call me Luc.
I tried before but my biggest catch at ubin is Catfishand the rest of my catch is also catfish.."maybe my rod is fated to get catfish" i fish at one of the little bridge near the ourward bound camp and if u willing to cycle further, there a road leadin to the open sea but u had to cast real far.
How about try to fish at west coast park?
*Ps: It is very rocky
Any brother can share somemore spots?![]()
there is an illegal spot to fish, the sand quarry behind bedok reservoir. catches there are tomans and peacock bass. can even net some tiger barbs (i think) if you want. do not fall in the water though, its pretty muddy and you'll need a lot of help getting out.
Emozz,
Will try out Pulau Ubin in the future. just kind of lazy to travel there.
For seaside, i think you really need loads of luck. My best catch rate was at Changi Carpark 5, 13 fishes in 2 hours. (4 rods though, a stingray or 2, the rest are catfishes. )
You guys can try out Marina South Pier. rumored to be a good grouper spot. (very rocky though)

sembawang park, always got nobody there.![]()
Jetty at lower seletar reservoir, I have seen people catch Soon Hock, Clown knifefish, Toman, Peacock bass, Catfish. Nowadays, all the fish I see caught are peacock bass.
No where can beat Bedok jetty, but mostly caught using live bait like prawns, Tamban etc... I'm also now into fishing hobby. lol![]()

Bedok jetty completed sometime ago, i think early this year. For squid/crab catching is Punggol 17, not the jetty. Sembawang jetty also good for crabbing, but smaller size than Punggol 17.

There's a >blog website< report on someone catches fish in Bedok jetty. Mostly caught using live bait. There are lesser fish now compare to last time not because there's no fish but lots of reclamation land going on here in Singapore, water polluted. Fish prefer cleaner water.
Also globally the fish populations is lesser nowadays. Quite sometime ago when i was in indonesia fishing in the open sea, you can hardly catch any fish, fisherman said that due to heavily commercial fishing, now lesser fish.![]()
