Hi to all, i need some help on my amazon frogbits.
Problem is that their roots are growing so long that some of them manage to touch the substrate. As a result, my tank look quite messy. In addition, the long roots are attracting detritus.

Is there a way to keep them short other than trimming? Any help would be appreciated. Below are my tank's details:

Tank Size: 3ft * 2ft * 2ft
Lighting: T5 (39W * 2)
Photoperiod: 10am – 3pm, 5pm - 10pm
CO2 flowrate: 1 bps
Flora: E.Tenellus, Amazon Frogbit, Mini Moss
Faura: Cardinal Tetras, Harlequin Rasboras, Corydoras, Otos and Pencilfishes
