kingpin, picture's pretty good (how did you manage to get them to stay still?) but how come so grainy?

ermmm… so can you tell the difference?

Took many shots, then used photoshop to sharpen abit. The picture I posted was one of the better ones. Actually, I still cannot tell the difference between the two as their colours are quite similar. There is another link which differentiate the two more distinctly. The lampchop's body was redder than the glowlight's.

the key is in the shape of the black patch, although in practice the glowlight's body is very "white" vs the lambchop.

    Choy,

Any idea where to get lampchops? A search on the past postings did not actually show where to get them.

got mine from biotope, these are wild from Thailand (an island called Ko Ngang). Not sure if there are still stock, you can call and check. But if you want to buy 150, I'm sure he can bring in for you

    Choy,

The 2nd pic dun look like lampchop leh. Looks more than glowlight, as the body is transparent.

Did a search on Espei aka Lampchop rasbora on the forum. Somehow, I cannot find any LFS that sells them from the archives.

Very nice Chrissia. Where did you get them? Should have gotten espei instead of hengli. Espei so much redder than hengli.

Got them from C328 one year ago. That was the last I saw espei. Have been looking for them ever since but to no avail. The best part - 40 cents each for these beauties!!!
