There's nothing much we can do with the weather. It's either you get a chiller or try and place your tank in a cooler area in your house. Try and stay away from windows which let in sunlight.

You can consider adding a fan provided your tank is small.
U may wanna try this link: http://www.petfrd.com/forum/articles...ticle&artid=92
added a Dymax fan, temperature has dropped to 27 degrees...keep it going lower!
add styroform boards at all 3 sides of the tank. it will keep the tank cooler
Fans work on the principle of evaporation. Ensuring adequate ventilation around your tank, so that your tank water is easily evaporated is a first step. I had the same problem when i place my fan to blow on my sump tank which is in a cabinet. Now my fans are blowing on my main tank, 3°C lower.
I have seen chillers for small 24l tanks at abt $100 at y618. If your tank is small enough can consider mini chiller instead of ones that cost 3 to 5 time more.

i try a cheap way b4, i add some ice in the afternoon of the day. it do help a bit and it is cheap.
I think so too. It's like a must have kinda thing. Just drink a few bottle of small bottle mineral water, which u can empty off the water as part of drinking water. Fill with tap water then dump it into the freezer. It helps also if there is power failure to keep the freezer still operational.
So only haze days without rain or Hot season, take one out put on the water surface of the tank, after changing to water, remove it, wash the surface, put back to freezer then put another over to the tank.
my tank temperature is now 26 - 27 degrees. Will that be a good range for guppies?
Also read that link about using iced bottle; will that be a good choice to lower the tank water of my 2nd tank's at 29 - 30 degrees?

And where in LFS we will able to purchase the mini chiller.
Im not sure about one chiller cooling two tanks at the same time..
The Mini chiller is avaialable for $100 to $200, depending on the chiller size. Have seen it at two LFS so far.

(Look under G)
Guppies could survive in PH 7 to 8.5, 18-28C, but here is the thing; Normally, we do not subject the fishes to extreme temperature change. Even human will catch a cold. If you have to do it, do it gradually.
