    Just got this pair from Bro scope.
    It's my first Pleco pair and I think they are bristlenose?
    Pictures taken while they were in my holding tank, had since released them in my 4-footer.
    Both male and female have white tips on their tailfins; though the pictures didn't show it.

    Best you check with SCOPEYEO on the L-number, if any.
    As you mention the picture quality is a little hard for anyone to help for an ID.
    But its certainly a bristlenose.

    As for sexing, its a little hard at this size.
    IT looks good for now.
    But as there is a size differential its not carved it concrete...
