This is my group of CRS collected from Silane yesterday.

Question, is it a good idea to focus more on a higher protein diet since they are only about 1cm. (any particular brand to recommend?)

I feed mine that, too. However, the shrimps seemed to have a harder time finishing them. Seemed like there are some very hard yellow bits left on the feeding plate...
