Huh... don't understand your post. What you can do is to ensure the rainbar is submerged below the waterline, so that your water output will not cause any surface agitation. I hope this is what you meant to say.

That is one way but i like to see the rain bar distributing above to create agitation for oxygenation. but which angle can i make this less water being spurt out of the tank.... I read the manul and it showed a 45 degrees angle to the water just wondering if people follows and did not get the outside of the tank wet.
is your tank planted tank? if yes, you should try to limit surface agitation
