i'll be leaving Singapore for a period of time, so my parents will be looking after my 3 feet fish tank.

As i'm worry it will be difficult for my old folks to look after, maintain and clean the canister Fluval 405 filter. So i'm changing to two sets of internal filter, Fluval 4 Plus. ( yeah i like the Fluval brand )

So will two sets of Fluval 4 Plus enough to replace the job of a Fluval 405? Mine is just planted tank only with proper fish load.

    Please advice. thanks!

How long will you be away? What's in your tank? Hard to give advice when the other operating parameters are unknown.

I would keep a cannister and add an internal filter if you do come back once in a few months.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
