any one?
Also I will be using ADA subtrate![]()
Im quite new to keeping sakura shrimps and plan to set up a 24L tank just to breed them.
I have a few questions.
Is there a required ph for them to breed or can i just adapt them to any ph that remains constant?
Can breed shrimps in high tech setup, with high light, ferts and disposable cans of c02?
What other requirements do sakuras need to breed. eg. strong filtration, type of plant, water temp?
Thanks jiajuen

will low ph affect breeding of sakuras. I have layered ada powersand and amazona as well as powder sand. Okay for shrimps?

i didn't even bother with gravel. just dumped them into my fgt and they breed like rabbits! within a few weeks i have hundreds from a few pieces of adults.
Im on 6.6 ph and breeding accordingly. The color traits not bad too!
what about temp?
Cheers,
JJ
Sakuras are quite tolerant of a range of environment. As long as they are able to survive for the first few weeks, and are eating and molting, they will soon be carrying eggs.
