    Hi guys,

    I recently started up a 3 foot shrimp tank and am in the process of cycling it. Into my 3rd week now. And There's Grey stuff growing on my mosses.

    Just what is this and how do i get rid of it

    Algae... BBA?
    I see some growing on mine too... also cycling tank second week. Mine's BBA, I think - so I guess I'll be removing those moss and retying them .

    haha guess what guys,

    I decided to totally remove the driftwood with the grey gunk and bought another piece to replace it. Hope all goes well this time.

    the grey stuff is caused by bacteria boom. leave it alone. it'll clear after awhile.
