I tested even 1 fan or 5 fans made no different. The lowest is 27C and the evaporation rate is about 5 mm per day.

Mind to share how you attach your fan set to to tank/light?

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping that normal hairgrass to grow taller but it was not successful.
I use 4 thin wire for fan to an angle and 2 wire to hang the lightset. See photo

Thanks for sharing, your fans looks like floating in mid light at first sight, well done. haha.
hmm.. Probably you might like to try some E. tenellus.
They are taller and should grow bronze / red under your setup.

That is because of lack of rich CO2. But you have to watch out for your CRS once you increase the CO2. You also must trim the HG often to stimulate the growth.

It can be the reason why hairgrass did grow tall, my co2 only 0.5 bubble per second.

Actually 1 PC fan only consume DC 12V, not a lot. Reason for using 5 fans is easy to balance and hang it. Also like the LED effect especially at night. Thanks

Thanks. It's AquaZonic from NA. Difficult to find 1.5ft light set elsewhere.

Re: My first ADA planted tank

Actually you just need one fan but placing at breath direction instead of the length direction, result would be better and save electricity.
