i see the tail of an otocinclus, a cherry shrimp, a yamato shrimp, the two fan shrimps and also the part of a shell of a killer snail.
Saw this brute in the LFS and couldn't resist getting him
The shrimp measures 9cm from head to tail...
Now I have to hand feed the fellow using a syringe to make sure he gets enough to eat!
Can you spot the other shrimps in the picture?
There's 3 other shrimps excluding the tail of the one in the foreground

Wood/Bamboo/Filter shrimp they call it...they love to be near the outlet of filter
Yup...the LFS calls it "mountain shrimp" in chinese. haha
Its by far the largest male I've seen so far.
Not much food for them from the outlet of the filter, have to hand feed liquidfry and crushed algae pallets using a syringe
You know it's male because of the larger first pair of legs?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Sexual dimorphism in the Atyopsis moluccensis shrimps? Yup
That was what I had gathered from reading about this specie.
Overall size and the larger first pair of legs.
This particular male's front leg is so huge, there is an "elbow spike" protruding from it, something which was not obvious in other smaller males at the LFS.

So I have a female.
I guess algae growing on the shell is not unusual. Mine was "furry" for a few weeks until it molted the old shell a few days ago. Now, it's nice and pink again.
