i have a 3 feet CADE aquarium tank. And i notice that the silicon use is very very little for joining the glass together.

i used to have fish tanks before, and i remember inside the fish tanks, i'm always able to touch the silicon along all the area where the glass join. What i'm trying to say there is always silicon protruding along the joint area.

but this CADE tank have so little silicon that i hardly see any silicon, and i can't even touch any silicon inside the tank.

ofcourse i don't need to touch the silicon, inface it looks better with minimum silicon.

but what i'm worry is, is this tank strong enough when water is put in?

anyone here used CADE tank too or know what i'm saying?

Hi bro I don't have CADE but I can understand how you feel but as with any new tank I just try to ensure safe transportation, no impact, fix the tank position and with cushion below to ensure the tank is level. I ever encounter my tank bracing coming off after a few months with new tank because my stand not level. The weight of the water literally warp the 4 glass walls, dropping the bracing. The bracing act as early warning sign.

Most importantly I think no more movement of tank after adding water, even small amounts.

After which I take a few days to daily check and observe the edges for early warning signs like water leakage or dampness.

That would give me some peace of mind.

Cheers bro and enjoy your tank! I lust for ADA and CADE - should be good.

    welcome to 24th century
I beilieve it was initially pioneer by ADA and yes it is strong enough. I was reading somewhere that they are using special glue or equipment which allow it to stick better

I think it should be safe and they come with 2 year warranty right?
Pls show your tank and share your setup. I plan to buy the 3ft CADE tank soon.
