Ready or custom made tank canopy?

I'm looking for a canopy, with lighting for my 2 foot tank.
Anyone sell complete units, or will build one.

Be nice if it had a hinge, and the lighting was attached to the hinged assembly.

Also should have some protection for the lighting from water splash.

do you really need a canopy?
your tank will be warmer due to lack of air circulation.
most likely you'll need to check with lfs whether they have ready-made light canopy.

If you want a hinged type hood/canopy with lights, you are better off buying a full 2 ft set with the hood included. Many shops don't sell you the hood alone. You can probably just buy the light set alone.

Like tawauboy says, the tank will be warmer if you have a hood on, especially with our climate. My 4 footer has a hood and it's temperature is always higher than my ambient room temperature. Getting a cooling fan soon to help with air circulation.
