    Hi Bros,

Just want to know if it is harmful to diffuse Diy Co2 directly to my tank? The reason I ask is because I'm seeing some fungus like thingy at the tip of my Co2 syphon hose where the bubble is coming out. Should I worry or not? The Co2 I produce is coming directly from the Co2 reactor? Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Lawrence

    Re: Question on DIY Co2

It is safe to diffuse the DIY CO2 directly into your tank. If you are worried, take out the tube and clean the part where you saw the fungus. I use a DIY system too, and have not experienced that "fungus" you speak of. As long as the DIY mixture does not get into the tank, you are fine.

    the fungus-like thing is normal.
if you do not want it to be in your tank, use a bubble counter between your co2 generator and diffuser.

    Re: Question on DIY Co2

Thanks Bro's... OK I will try to add a bubble counter into my Diy Co2 setup. I guess it would solve the problem.
