    ahahaahahah
    outbreak ah? not really outbreak
    can consider epidemic
bba was so bad at one time everything was covered in it

there was a period of time also that i tried this green algae killing powder
which worked by killing all plant life in the tank
thankfully the crypts all made it

    one of my favourite plants

DEA, is that C. balansae at the back of your tank? I really like them except mine don't grow well at all. Whats the base fert that you used for your tank?

    uhm
the base fert is bioplast terramineral
but the problem is when i started this tank 1 yr+ ago, i put the base fert RIGHT at the bottom and the plants couldn't get it
so i had to supplement with jaqno sticks until the roots grew well enough to hit the bottom

one thing important for balansae is the water temperature
they tend to die off at ~30 degrees

DEA, did u throw away all the gravel that has bba? Or did u skim off the top part of the gravel?
