    Re: Apisto sightings.

The aquarium's name is new katong aquarium. They have baby cacas there. I went down today and got 4 cacas and 2 other pieces which i'm pretty sure are apistos but I'm not sure of the species. Cost is a green note a piece but bear in mind, they are rather small. Some of the cacas are already showing colouration in the tail fins, especially the males! The shop is in katong plaza, just go down the steps and you will see the shop. Cheers guys!

    Re: Apisto sightings.

I was at C328 yesterday, saw one pair of mendezi in plastic bag in the tank near the counter. Usual species, like caca, borelli.

Mendezi females have slight extensions to the tail as well, in fact i thought mine was a male until it bred.

    Re: Apisto sightings.

Hey all! Was just at C328 this evening, many apistos to choose from but many males and few pairs... Veijita, Borelli, Caca and Mendezi have pairs but I didn't see any females for Bit, Hongsloi or Panduro... All the bags containing apistos in the tank beside the counter held males... maybe they hid the females? or maybe they just out somewhere I didn't happen to notice. But anyway, the Hongsloi and Panduro males look good and the Bit has pretty decent finnage too. The Borellis aren't too bad either. Hope this helps!
