hello
i think the rocks are very small for the layout .... when HC grow i think is cover up some rocks.
Phew!!! finally made it smaller. How do i put the pics as attached thumbnails? Anyways hope they are still not too big.
Pls comment thanks![]()

hi, may I know where you bought the potassium fert and how much for that thank.
Gravel a bit too thick. Almost 1/4 of the tank. Will limit the space in the tank. I had this problem before for shrimps. Need to change water very often due to feeding.
I have only ever seen this potassium fert at one LFS in yishun called K.S aquatics. Look up LFS directory. It is slightly cheaper than seachem ferts. This is my first time using. K.S aquatics in yishun uses it for there display tank with very good results.
about $7 per 120ml bottle. larger bottles are cheaper
As for the subtrate, i dont think i can remove any now that everything is running...... i will take noe for future. Anyways i will try and make due with what space i have.
Cheers,
JJ
nice rock you have in the middle, where did you find it?
I agree that your rocks are a bit small for your tank size, but its a good first effort.
Aside from the deep substrate that some bros have been commented on shouldn't have too many problems.
Is that duckweed floating on the surface? My personal advice is to remove it asap, don't leave a single leaf inside.
The duckweed on one of my tanks grows at a terrifying rate, and I can never seem to completely remove it, heh. Forms huge light blocking carpets on top of my 2 footer inside of 2 weeks, very tedious to keep removing it every week or so.
Thx for thecomments.
I found the middle rock at the same place i got my potassium fert. The other two were found at Y618. I have the duckweed to suck up the excess nutrients as its a new setup with only HC and jap HG. I dont mind the effort to remove it. But i will look into a way to remove easilty![]()

JJ
