Re: Where to buy Hang on filter?

I tried the oceanfree unit a few months ago for one of my smaller tanks, it has 3 compartments on 2 sides, but I wasn't thrilled with the thing.

It was quite noisy, and the flow rate wasn't anywhere close to stated, also the powerhead failed in less than 2 months.

If you are looking for a filter that has 2 - 4 compartments for media, I would seriously recommend getting a small canister filter.

if you are low on budget, can try Atman. I am using the CF800 for my planted tank. So far so good. Otherwise can try eheim.

Re: Where to buy Hang on filter?

I have one for sale. It is one f the best HOF. It is under Hagen Aquaclear. The maker for Fluval filters. I have a thread open now for sale for the Aquaclear 300 at $40. You can't really find this outside anymore. I bought this direct from the supplier, and they are the last 4 pieces. In the states they are selling for US$46 to US$52. Go read up and you will see a lot of people regarding this as the best HOF out there. It has got a big compartment for media and it uses an Italian motor. Online you can see people saying how they have been using this for 12 years and it is still working wonderfully etc. So let me know if you interested.
