Hi, may be just being stupid. But lately AQ is filling up my email inbox and making it hard to decify what is exactly what. Other forums and websites i'm signed up to i can turn off ALL email notifications and its used only when important things are required. It seems on this forum i'm unable to turn it off, and when i did once, it just turned itself back on. Frustrating.

Anyone know how to actually turn off ALL email notifications.

    Cheers.

    Re: email notifications

What email notification are you referring to? Thread reply notification can be deactivated through the user CP under subscribed thread.
Or are you referring to some spam?

    Regards

    Re: email notifications

I just checked your settings. All email notifications are turned off.

Your default subscription setting is "Subscribe without notification". This only affects subscriptions AFTER this setting was made.

To turn off email notifications from your existing subscriptions:
    1. Go to User CP > List Subscriptions.
    2. Select all the subscriptions for which you want to turn off email notification.
    3. Select 'No email notification' in the drop down list below the list of subscriptions.
    4. Click 'Go'.

You can use that to delete your subscriptions too.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Re: email notifications

OK, thank you both of you. I meant just general email notifications of general stuff here on AQ.

    Hopefully sorted now, cheers.
