I want to start chilling my tank.

It started off slowly with a canister filter, then a co2 tank. Now I find myself needing a chiller.

What would be a good chiller for a 3 foot tank? Say I want to buy one that would be great with a 3 foot tank but would also be sufficient for a 4 footer in the event that I find myself needing to upgrade?

I've heard the Resuns are cheap and good.

    Any opinions?

Cheap not necessary it is friendly for your pocket.

A cheaper chiller comsume more electricity then a slight better chiller.

So do weight out the pros and cons.

I am currently using a TECO TR10 for my 3ft planted tank.

Teco, Artica, Hailea and Resun are the 4 most popular brands.

Teco and Arctica are expensive and higher end brands.

Hailea and Resun are the cheaper China made brands.

If you have the budget look at Teco and Arctica, myself I'm happily using 2 Hailea chillers for my tanks, hehe.
