i think that your rocks placement are too low. your plants will cover it in no time.

your rock is way too small for the tank
For a tank that size you will be using about 100 pounds of Rock and some very tall ones to get any height. Big tall tanks, the hardscape is always a lot of money!
*/Tank Specs*/
50Gallon (90 X 45 X 45) Tetra Ex120, CO2 @1~2 bps, 4X30 watt @8 hrs
29 Gallon (61X40X45cm) DIY ADA stand, Eheim 2215, Fishline 48w T5 light @8hrs
17 Gallon Mr.Aqua (60X30X36cm) DIY ADA stand, Fishline T5 lights 48watts @7 hrs
Tank in Progress (120X60X55cm) DIY sliding door stand, Reef style tank w/ SUMP+Eheim pump, T5- 6X54w
Actually look for landscapers, they will know where to get large weathered granite rocks.

Personally, I like the left tank concepts.
But if the overall view can be arrange in third view angle, then it is more nice.
Just my personal opinion.

brother reborn4ever, i guess you can get bigger rocks. and by the way, what plants you intend to grow?

Providing you keep the plants low, that might work well, but usually with stem plants or ferns the height is more than the rocks. Just think How high you usually allow you stem plants to grow, and chose rocks that are higher than that. It is better to spend the money and time to get the right ones at first then to buy small ones that will only be lost in the scape and take up space with no benifts.

Thank for viewing.. But the way what you mean by third view angle?
Thank for viewing... Maybe i going to plant Hc and japan grasses...
Thank for viewing and tips.. I will take note of that and keep you guys update...![]()
If you are growing HC and Hairgrass, you might need to us MH lights as your tank is quite deep. Chiller is a must unless its in a air-con room because HC needs cool water to survive.
But i think it will be very nice for your tank to have hair grass and HC. it will look like a vast grass land plain with herds of shrimps, some school of tetra

I'd add more stones, but you should be aware of the carbonate hardness it could rise up if you will put to many stones in. You can see my tank it's very close to your hard scape so I have already had this problem before![]()

From your first pic you dont fill up to the rim of the tank, so is not even to 2ft yet.Usually for Aquascaping tank the ideal height is around 45cm, if you notice ADA tank mostly are around this height. Different rocks sometime release certain hardness to the water column, especially Seiryu Rocks, but good news is HC like hardness to a certain level.
If your rock height is not enough just pile the soil below and put the stone on top instead of bury it. When doing Iwagumi lots of people tends to bury the rocks low, to do that only when necessary although it looks great without the plant comes in, so what you can do is raise the rock from the ideal height to 1-2 inch instead after the final scape, that is to take the plant into consideration. Hope this help. Happy scaping.
