I noticed the above plant's leaves tend to have holes and gradually the edges are torn leaving behind a bare stalk. Whats the problem?
    Other plants are fine.

according to dennerle, it's due to high oxygen content in the water

Hi DEA, does that means this plant can only grow in water with low light penetration?

    Hello wks,

you wan some crypts? Am going Bangkok's chatuchack market to grab a bundle, plus some more barclayas. If they survive the trip back, can have crypt party at my place, cos there's enough to redo my tank twice over.

    this sat got gan outing?

no, it doesn't mean that b. longifolia can only be grown in low light conditions, just that one should avoid plants that oxygenate the water well
slow growing plants generally fit the bill, like crypts

DEA, my cryptocoryne wendtii/ciliata are doing fine. Even my barclaya in the experimental soil planted tank also faces the same problem.
