    haha I only got them for like 3 weeks..
    hope they hatch. any precautions to take for babies?
    I have a few neon tetras, arnd 6, n 2 ottos.

    Hi

    Is your tank heavily planted? How big is your tank? Care post a picture? if tank size small, little plant, suggest you take out the fishes except Ottos...

    dun have a camera with me but maybe somewhere there, with flame n java mosses instead. 2 feet tank!

    oh no i cant find the shrimp now. will they hide when they carry eggs? its bright yellow in colour any indicators as to how long they have been carrying?

    i think you should see the pregnant shrimp without egg when she appears again. in my case they hide. if you see black dots on the shrimp eggs then you should see baby shrimps soon! good luck.

    you keep shrimps with below fishes ?
    then shrimplets will be good breadfast for them.

    want to keep shrimps, please do not mixed with fishes.

    Otto is very safe, I guarantee. But I don't trust tettra, you better take them out. Your shrimplet can hide but they cannot escape and they need to come out of their hiding place to play around. It takes time for shrimplets to hatch, you only need to look closely at your mosses because they are too tiny and transparent when young. The only time when they surprise you with their presence is when you do WC or feeding time.

    So far I can only think of snails and ottos that are safe to shrimplets. Don't really trust the other type of fishes.
