Which crab are you referring to in particular? The one that comes to mind is the Vampire Crab. I saw some at C328 last week.

Ah yes, from Thailand. Then you're referring to the Parathelphusa species. I don't think I've seen any in the LFS so far. If you want a funky crab to keep, I'd just stick with the Vampires, because I think the ones from Sulawesi are slightly endangered. Probably the easiest one for you to find is the Panther Crab, aka Parathelphusa pantherina I think.

I have currently in my holding mandrain(4), vampires(12), rainbow(5) and apple crab(3). Hence I am looking for sulawesis.
By the way, are Parathelphusa pantherina available locally? would love to get a couple of them.

Not sure, but if the Germans have them, I guess Singaporean importers should have some. Please do try to spawn and raise the baby crabs. I think they're not very plentiful in their native habitat.

I wish to try Vampire Crabs soon, but not before I make myself a proper crab tank.

I was told by Qian Hu that they are not really keen to bring in the crabs due to high DOA and they are not cheap. Plus local demeand not high. I was also told by them that certain european countires actually banned the import of fresh water crusteans.

I didn't ask the guys from drive 12 though...

if i am right, joydiv can help us bring in these crabs, he is a distributor of aristocratama. however, there is a minimum order. Maybe you can organise a mass order? i am interested too
