    Re: Hi

Skills wise, I see you are doing fine. A bit ambitious, try to plant everything. You could consider a new tank in 2010, try moving some of the plant types out then you will be freeing some space out. Usually what I will do is to leave some space as "feeding ground", these will be the space for me for do more cleaning when I decided to siphon the sandbed. How about it?

You could change the mood of the tank by putting colored plastic sheets onto the lights, that should change mood but what color you like, you will have to decide it for yourself. Color plastic sheets can be found at local bookshops like less than $2.00, I bought mine for 2 x $1.45, I got violet and reddish color sheets.

    Re: Hi

Actually, I was referring to "feeding ground" more, new tanks don't have to siphon too much if it is not over crowded with fishes' poo poo.

It is easy to comment, but Let's see what you can do your sakuras, I goes with the never try never know attitude. I can say not recommended here but it can turn out to be good. That is the thing about planted tank.

I started off my 3ft tank and my family goes "Why would you want to have a botak tank?" Then I introduce the fish and they goes "hmmm...." Then when I increase the plant population they goes "Whao! Stunting!".

Just one thing here. The tetras do not have guts, so if you can create a small santuary for them hide themselves, it would be good. Pay attention to their colors each time you feed them. If the color are suddenly all lost for a few days, you must start investigating why before it is too late to take action.

Start getting a 30cm tank, get sponge filter w/air pump not motorised filter. Perhaps a small tap to control the pump rate. You will need a very simple KK hospital there. Take a rectangle plastic box, cut the bottom away with a pen knife. The enclosure should provide ample hiding place. If you know the father of the cherry, you can put the pair together. I don't know what baby food you will need, so you better start asking around. You will not need light, if possible, find a cloth to cover the tank also.

I starting to like this forum. Now if Tiger Woods can say out of trouble maybe I will get some work done.
