Any Eheim 2260 user can share what type of CO2 reactor you are using and how you connect it?
I using a NA external reactor connect to the output of the 2260 canister, it work well but feel that the output slow down quite a lot. Is there any tips to improve the output flow? Thanks!

The NA one probably has one of the lowest flow obstruction of all the reactors I've seen.

The only other way is to go with a ceramic diffuser or ladder if you're concerned about the drop in flow rate.

I used to only use external reactors because of efficiency, but having that extra point of failure, and that additional bit of maintenance is why I gave them up and went back to using ceramic diffusers.

use inline diffuser (NOT inline reactor), does not reduce your flow.

You could use one Big ceramic diffuser or two smaller ones, its not going to be as efficient as a reactor but its much lower maintenance and one less point of failure.

Not familiar with inline diffusers or how much more efficient they are than the regular ceramic diffusers myself, got to wait for bro Shadow's input on those, I don't think I've seen one before, though I haven't actively looked for one.

Another possible suggestion though, is to hook up a powerhead to an internal reactor, and just bubble CO2 into that, 5ft is pretty big..heh.

If you want the glass type, you can go with CAL Aqua

If you wan the cheap-cheap one you can use Boyu CD-01. I'm using this. Not available lookally though, you need to buy online (ebay). The one available locally is by ISTA, exactly the same shape but twice the price.

Dig up this old threads on NA external reactor http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ternal+reactor, follow bro Vinz tips to modify the elbow.
Turn on the filter. Wow...The flow rate increased tremendously (almost double), attached pic on difference of the size of the original black elbow with the new one. And the CO2 dissolve rate as efficient as before change or even better.

oh wow I wonder why they even did it that way in the first place, thats a crazy amount of flow restriction.
