Actually, Vinz is correct. Get the quote first.
The printing should include the complexity such as number of colors stuffs like that, whether collar-T or Non-collar-T, wind breaker, etc. Thereafter comes the design phase where if you go for 3 colors printing, then what sorta colors to choose, designer comes in this phase. Once the T-shirt sale materialised, the next thing may perhaps be the cap(Baseball cap) poll; ha ha, I hope so.

try not to get over excited, those stats are ready buyers, after seeing the product they might think otherwise, look at it this way...you were out window shopping and saw this cool t-shirt with great design and said.."wow i want 1 of those" and maybe buy more for family and friends..
a die hard AQ member will wear any kind of design AQ produce even if the design sucks..just like a man united fans will do(no offence). but die hard AQs are not many judging by the previous t-shirt poll. AQ should target the lesser members or the non active ones..showcase the t-shirt and then review the stats..
