I took the clue posted by Stuporman over at Petfrd and did some digging around. From this paper on Eugnathogobius and Pseudogobiopsis, by the goby expert Helen K. Larson:

I believe what you have there, is probably Eugnathogobius siamensis. Perhaps you can send a letter with the pictures attached to the address listed for Helen on that paper, and see if she can identify it.
