    Hi folks,

Currently, I have 6 tanks lying around the house empty. The sizes are 1 unit of 422, and 5 units of 2 feet.

I intend to use the 422 for either plain discus/angel fish. Out of the 5 2 feet, two will be for my crabs.

I was thinking of using the remaining 2 feet for either apistos or plecos.

    Inputs anyone?

Looks like a good plan. But that's a lot of hardware to be taking care of. I can't maintain so many tanks. The water changes might drive me nuts.

You can easily turn the remaining 3 x 2ft tanks into partitioned breeding tanks for Apistos, say 3 partitions per tank. That'll give you space for at least 6-7 pairs, with 1 partition spare for emergencies. As for plecos, I think they need more space as compared to Apisto?

As for the crab tanks, maybe conversion into paludariums so you can keep some fish with them?

Yourself is an expert in looking for links for the above fish types but you can just take your time before deciding, although each of them might be tempting.

Alamak, got license does not mean your entire floor can take the load.. Next time you bypass Bedok South, you will see the middle of Bedok South having new blocks from the rest. Well, what happen then was the entire kitchen cave downwards on two seperate blocks until it is structurally declared unsafe. After that, those few blocks were torn down and rebuilt hence the current ones.

Your MP at NW is more interested in Khoo Phua Teck than HDB and the MP in W is more interested in Employment. Old Mah is more interested in getting more $$ via land resale than builting more HDB also...lol

Please .... I am still in the process of learning... I know only a tiny winnie bit and I am serious.

actually I have more or less decided... just throwing my mind open for inputs and guidance.

=) You are not too bad yourself. Okay gold fish are really out of context for viva tank but you could look at others if you are setting non-viva tanks for the 2ft.

If you are looking at viva type alone. I do have one insect in mind. I do not have the name so I will describe to you. It look like branch but have at least 4 legs, if it breaks into half (quite delicate), it will not die but will still survive. Once I saw it in one of my cousin's house. It's something like 25 years ago. =P I didn't notice about that insect until someone pointed out to me; because it really look like a branch.

    Not crocodile, lah.

I had submitted my proposal and design of paludarium to HSA months ago and I got the green light and will be license to keep a green iguana, but according to HSA's strict rules, I must have at least 833 or 933 tank to keep a green iguana as a pet.

So I've to start looking for 833 or 933 monster tank next year.
    cheers
