I see. I've heard of some sight aggression on the steel blue before but not to the extent of killing fishes. Just some minor agitation. But still docile enough to be a community fish.

In a tank full of apistos, i think any dominant male will flare until sian (tired) man. Everywhere he turns to, he sees another apisto. In the end, just give up attacking others...
