Hi guys....... i am new in this forum and would like to ask a few questions

i have already setup my 1ft tank n already cycled the water for 2 weeks following the threads here..... now am wantin to buy shrimps CRS,HInOs all that....... may i know where east area can i buy other than CRS HAVEN AND OTF??
and also for fan ya, what type should i get and the damage??

Morning BOBBY01,
please remember that CRS need temperature of 22-25 degree C in order to survive, especially if you are getting those S grade and aboves. They are more sensative than those A, B and C. I don't want you to have your pocket burned. Let your tank cycle longer (2-3 weeks more). Main while read up more about it.

And by the way, you can always try getting your shrimps in your market place. CRS Haven is a good place to get shrimp because you gets to choose what you wants. Price wise will comfirm be higher.

LFS around the neighbourhood should have them . Some like C328 , Nature aquarium, Colorful aquarium etc etc.

For their street directory. Please do a search in the forum as they have a map to all the add for the LFS in singapore.

How do u start a crystal red shrimp set up from a brand new tank?
would u cycle tank first? and how long .

i cycle my tank(30gallon) for 1 month with 9 guppies then did water change 30%. i added 30 cherry red shrimp and it went fine. i bought 2 crystal red shrimp and one die in a 3days.. i don't know why???

i think it is because maybe the 2 crystal reds were stress because everything else is just cherry red shrimp. i have moss and plants as well. my ammonia is 0 and my PH is 7.4 sooo what do u think????? help!!!

since yours is a 1ft tank eheim might be too strong so you can consider getting a eden .

The eden 501 is good enough for a 1ft tank.. If budget is not a problem.. Then hit the ehiem..
